Clean hands for bright future
Around 1.1 billion people globally do not have access to improved water supply sources whereas 2.4 billion people do not have access to any type of improved sanitation facility. About 2 million people die every year due to diarrhoeal diseases, most of them are children less than 5 years of age.The most affected are the populations in developing countries, living in extreme conditions of poverty, normally peri-urban dwellers or rural inhabitants.

Blood donation day of Republic of Macedonia 17 March 2011
On March 17 the Blood donation day as well as the Foundation day of Macedonian Red Cross was formally marked. By that occasion MRC organized a festive event in the House of charity organizations Dare Dzambaz. As an honored guest on this event, the Minister of Health Mr. Bujar Osmani was invited.

Week of dental care 15-21.12.2010
As part of the traditional calendar of activities, from 15 to 21 December 2010, MRC marked the Week of dental care 15-21.12.2010. On this occasion, we created the motto for this year’s celebration “The teeth are organs too”, which had a duty to remind the public about the importance and proper care of the teeth as an essential part of human organism.
